Step 3 - Check brake rotor. It could be grooved, cracked, or rusted. With the wheel removed, visually inspect the rotor. Look for any cracks, rust, or grooves.
The priming behavior is triggered but the door opening and the ecu or Central electronic module triggering the pump to run for a few seconds on that signal. Somehow that signal isn't triggering in your case so it's likely a fault between the ECU and the door. Not the ecu and the pump. -CP.
Hi, I had got the same problem - 2006 Audi A4 2.0 Tdi b7 103Kw - So I had cleaned the Egr Valve and by my own mistake forgot to put back the throttle body acuator cable. I tested the car and had no black smoke or shudder. When I re-installed the cable the car began to smoke again and shudder.

Received 0 Likes on 0 Posts. I had the same issue with rough idle. You should research PCV fixes for Audi's. I went with the basic PCV fix from BSH speedshop. Fantastic fix. It also solves the oil spewing from the cap issue. The car even runs smoother when throttling at low speed.
The other option some people say has helped was the ECU relays which are under the ECU in the plenum in the corner of the engine bay. These relays have been updated by Audi as they're known to cause some weird electrical issues. Not sure if it would fix the issue or not, but it can't hurt and could help in the long run. The ECM doesn't have a "Engine Start Blocked by Immobilizer" type fault code, and no codes in the Immobilizer as well. Go into the Immob module and see if it allows engine start. 25-08-022.1, should have a value of "1" which means the Immobilizer will allow and engine start. Click here to see what that means.
